Here is our final menu (PDF) from REO and the updated job schedule (PDF) with George added. 07/31/2011 Our trip is full now with George Steigerwald joining the trip. See you all at Lee's Ferry. 06/11/2011 Only three more days before we send the food menu into REO. The menu (EXCEL) has been updated to include Sam B and Chris plus two more optional days for the trip. Be sure to check them out! 06/01/2011 Tim has received our permit (PDF) for our August 14 launch and accompanying information. The Grand Canyon National Park GCNP river office expects a steady flow of 24,000 CFS. That means no tides, smaller beaches, bigger water and we will be moving much faster than normal, the roaring 20s and the jewels will wash out a bit and the rock garden below Crystal will be more challenging. We are approaching 60 days, so Tim will send in our 50% deposit to Canyon REO next week. Our tentative menu is also due. Please review this menu (EXCEL) and email Tom S any suggestions. 04/23/2011 Tim's timeline spreadsheet (EXCEL) on our trip. Canyon REO's menu planner (PDF) needs to be reviewed to decide our trip menu. Our final menu needs to be sent to REO by June 14th. Tom S has included a sample menu (EXCEL) for this trip and the menu (EXCEL) we used in our March 2008 trip for a reference. The sample menu also includes our tentative schedule for rotating thru food and toilet duties. Let Tom S know any additions or changes.
