Log of Climb

Friday - start climb at Paradise 5400 feet 12:30pm after hard rain stopped but still drizzling
           - camped on Muir snow field at 8500 feet at 4pm just got above the clouds still very windy
Saturday - above the solid cloud layer climb up to Camp Muir 10,080 feet, take lunch break
               - helmet, ropes and crampons from here on, cross Cowlitz Glacier pass Cathedral Rocks and camped on Ingraham Flat 11,100 feet
Sunday - 1:10am start climb in the dark, clear and cold, up and cross Ingraham Glacier traversing onto Disappointment Cleaver and up the glaciers to the rim
            - 5:30am sunrise perfect weather no clouds
            - 7:30am get to rim of crater
            - 8:00am get to the very top 14,411 feet; cold and windy on peak
            - 8:30am head back to Ingraham Flat camp
            - 12:15pm back at camp, take nap, melt snow for more water and relax on the glacier
Monday - 9:10am start climb down, break at Camp Muir again
              - 2:00pm get down to Paradise glissading part of the way
