3/3&6-10&17&23&24&25/2025 Dry Creek Falls hike 5.4 miles 900 feet off the PCT in the gorge; Trip to Boulder, CO to visit Tim and Janet in their new place; Janet with her new beautiful baby grand piano and it was fun hearing her play on it; 20.9 mile bike ride with Tim and Bruce and Tim's biking group in Boulder; met 3 year old Arden at the park with his grandparents Susan and Galen. Arden is now a big brother with his sister Linnea joining Andy and Mia in their family; Tim's brand new 13 foot raft that we worked on getting all set up; the University of Colorado buffalo in front of Folsum Stadium; Tim and Janet's new townhouse right off their park and bike path; lunch down on Pearl Street in Boulder; Cape Perpetua hike 4.4 miles 600 feet on the coast near Yachats; cheese soufflé dinner with eggs from our neighbor's chicken next door; head banging concert at the Grand Theater in Salem with our friend Zack on drums with his band the Hypnatwists; Cape Lookout hike 5 miles 800 feet during whale week on the coast, but did not see any; flight to Albany and Lebanon with Ramesh and Ani in a Cessna 172 Skyhawk; Janet and Vicki with Bernie and AOC in Denver rally and their singing group sang to 34,000 people. 1/27&2/2-7&10&17&21&27/2025 Eagle Creek and Punchbowl Falls hike 4.6 miles 1000 feet in the gorge; Steamboat Springs, Colorado skiing with Dick for a week, hot tub after skiing all day, hit the happy hours in town, cook breakfast and dinner in Dick's timeshare condo, watch ski jumping by 12 to 14 year olds (see link below) and none of them crashed, snowshoeing, fun week; West Summit Loop snowshoe 4 miles 700 feet near Rabbit Ears Pass 10 miles from Steamboat; Emerald Mountain snowshoe 5.3 miles 1400 feet right above the town; Bob Straub State Park loop hike 6.4 miles 100 feet near Pacific City on the coast with a guy chain sawing a driftwood stump into a valentine bear; winter volleyball team with Tamra, Sonja, Morgan, Erik and Zack; Hiouchi/Mill Creek hike 10.1 miles 800 feet in the Redwoods and Grove of the Titans with Elle and Ziv; Dimple Hill/Horse Trail hike 9.1 miles 1700 feet with Ziv while Elle worked in their new Mercedes Sprinter Camper near Corvallis; flight to Albany and Lebanon in a Cessna 172 Skyhawk with Ramesh. 12/30&1/4&6&9&13&18-20/2024 Cape Lookout hike 5.5 miles 1200 feet on the coast; snowboarding and skiing at Hoodoo with Ramesh and Pranav in the fog and snow; Latourell Falls, Sheppard's Dell and Bridal Veil Falls hike 4 miles 1000 feet in the gorge; flight to the Newport on the coast with Ramesh and Pranav in a Cessna 172 Skyhawk plus a visit to the Yaquina Lighthouse; snowboarding and skiing at Mt Hood Meadows stopping by Brad and Allison's new cabin near by; Tom's 73rd birthday with a delicious pot roast dinner; snowboarding and skiing with Aaron, Addy, Liz, Julie, Tim, Jack, Melissa and John at Hoodoo; Hart's Cove hike 3.4 miles 700 feet on the coast near Cascade Head.
