6/23&25-28&7/3/2026 Iron Mountain loop 7.2 miles 1800 feet near Tombstone Pass; Father's Day Camping Trip (a week later) Moab, Utah visiting 3 parks with Aaron, Addy, Liz, Holly, Michael, Chris, Julie, Tim L, Janet and Tim S; Bruneau Dunes State Park in Idaho half way to Moab, very nice spot; Dead Horse Point State Park camping 3 nights with everyone, very strong winds and it blew our tent into a tree and ripped it good; two good ranger talks with Ranger Jimmy; Canyonlands National Park Murphy Point hike 3.4 miles 140 feet with everyone, nice film at visitor center; big fire (Babylon Fire) sparked that day which caused a lot smoke and flames you could see at night, but lucky the strong wind did not blow the smoke our way; next day Arches National Park, first hike Delicate Arch 3 miles 500 feet with Aaron, Addy, Liz, Julie and Tim L, also nice petroglyphs; second hike Landscape Arch 2 miles 100 feet; third hike North Window, South Window, Turret Arch and Double Arch 2 miles 200 feet with Addy, Julie and Tim L; a quick stop to see dinosaur tracks on the way back; kayak day 5 miles at Silverton Reservoir and up Silver Creek (10 miles downstream from Silver Falls) with Jennifer, David, DIanne, Will, Mary, Lizanne and Nate, Google Photos

6/9&11&14-18/2026 Bachelor Mountain hike 4 miles 1200 feet in the fog near Detroit Lake; Ramesh doing soft field landing in the grass at Lenhardt Airport near Woodburn in a Cessna Skyhawk 172; bike up Going-to-the-Sun highway from Avalanche to Big Bend in Glacier National Park on the west side 25 miles 2300 feet with Michael and Tim; lunch at Lake McDonald Lodge and camping two nights at Apgar Campground; bike up the east side from Rising Sun to the tunnel 21.8 miles 2000 feet almost to the pass, we could see the Logan Pass Visitor Center; Michael and Tim head back to Colorado and Tom heads over to Bridgette's; short hike 3 miles 500 feet around Lion Lake with Alison to help her exercise her new knee near Hungry Horse; Alison and PT meet for the first time (they were both rangers at Belly River and we all went out for dinner with Camille, PT, Bridgette and Alison; hang out a Bridgette's for a couple days with PT and Camille.
